Three institutes move tissue banking to the forefront of Arizona science

As research efforts in the country and state continue to grow rapidly, the demand for tissue samples has grown in tandem. Tissue repositories, which collect tissue specimens for clinical studies, have become the answer to that need. Thus, a little-known practice has quietly become a vital component of Arizona's bioscience industry, building vital infrastructure and bolstering the state's research reputation nationwide.
