UA Tech Park contributes to southern Arizona

[Source: University of Arizona Communications] – The University of Arizona Tech Park contributes $3 billion annually to Pima County’s economy, according to a new report detailing the park’s performance and local contributions.

“The UA Tech Park is a critical component of the Southern Arizona high technology economy,” said Bruce Wright, associate vice president for University Research Parks. “The employment growth at the park demonstrates the importance of a knowledge-based economy, especially during periods of economic recession.”
