TGen wins $150K grant for AML studies

[Source: GenomeWeb News] – A researcher at the Translational Genomics Research Institute has received a $150,000 grant from the American Cancer Society to identify potential targets of value in fighting acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

James Bogenberger, a researcher in TGen’s Leukemia Research Team, will use the three-year grant to fund studies that will identify therapeutic targets that sensitize AML to epigenetic therapies, TGen said on Wednesday.
