Funding. Connections. Support.

That is what awaits the six Arizona-based early-stage bioscience firms competitively selected for the 2023 Flinn Foundation Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program.

The application is now open. The deadline to apply is Nov. 7.

The program, now in its 10th year, will award $30,000 in non-dilutive funding through the Arizona Bioindustry Association, the foundation’s nonprofit partner. In addition, the firms will receive a professionally developed, yearlong plan specific to their needs to help them advance to commercialization and become investor-ready.

Opportunities are offered to the selected firms to engage with the state’s bioscience, academic, and policy leaders, including membership for one year on Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee and in the Arizona Bioindustry Association. Firms are also invited to exclusive events with fellow bioscience entrepreneurs.

More information can be found at www.flinn.org/entrepreneur and on the two-page program flyer.

In addition, prospective applicants are encouraged to learn more about the application requirements and 54 past program participants and register for the Oct. 5 virtual information session.

The application deadline is Monday, Nov. 7.
