Ten research teams from three Arizona institutions have been awarded $100,000 each from the Flinn Foundation Seed Grants to Promote Translational Research Program to help turn their findings into viable treatments and diagnostics.

Two bio and life sciences companies—Dx4Liver, Inc. of Scottsdale and Macula Vision Systems of Oro Valley—were among the 10 awardees of the 2023 Arizona Innovation Challenge that will participate in the Venture Ready Accelerator to increase investor readiness.

Researchers in Arizona, including at TGen, HonorHealth, and University of Arizona, and from around the world will use a $4.5 million grant to develop technology that will work to earlier detect pancreatic cancer.
