TGen’s Office of Science Education and Outreach was established to enhance the public’s understanding of genetics and the remarkable discoveries at TGen emerging from completed sequence of the human genome and the advent of new and better technologies for both understanding and disseminating the information generated by this milestone in research history.

Among their future goals is the development and distribution of educational materials about genetics for students, teachers, and the general public. For now they offer a number of helpful links to various web-based sites dedicated to better explaining the complex field of genetic medicine and research.
