For civic leaders eager to address Arizona’s long-term issues, there’s no other statewide program like the Flinn-Brown Fellowship. For more than 10 years, the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation has led the premier leadership program for emerging leaders to expand their knowledge and connections to make a difference in their communities.
This spring, about 25 Arizonans will be selected to join Flinn-Brown and its statewide network of more than 380 Fellows from Arizona’s business, technology, agricultural, industry, education, nonprofit, and public sectors—and from all walks of life and perspectives.
The 2022 Flinn-Brown Academy application is now open. The deadline to apply is Monday, February 28.
The Arizona Center for Civic Leadership and its flagship Flinn-Brown Fellowship was launched by the Flinn Foundation and Thomas R. Brown Foundations of Tucson in 2011.
Once selected, Flinn-Brown Fellows begin their civic leadership journey with the invaluable Flinn-Brown Academy. The Academy brings together Fellows from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to learn directly from experts about issues facing our state and build connections with prominent leaders shaping public policy at the state level.
Our prestigious Flinn-Brown experience offers:
- Unparalleled learning about policy and politics through the Flinn-Brown Academy;
- Valuable connections with top state leaders and policy experts;
- Membership in the powerful Flinn-Brown Network; and
- Personalized support for civic-leadership development.
