UA Pediatric Pulmonary Center awarded $1.7M grant

[Source: UA News] – The University of Arizona Pediatric Pulmonary Center has been awarded a five-year, $1.7 million grant by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration.
 
The award will enable the center to continue serving as a regional and national resource for training and educating graduate-level students to care for children with chronic pulmonary disorders within the disciplines of medicine, nursing, nutrition, social work and respiratory therapy.
 
The UA Pediatric Pulmonary Center is one of only six such centers funded in the U.S.
