Whether he knew it or not, Sharad Desai (’99) has been chasing Shelley Detwiller DiGiacomo (’91) all across the country for, I don’t know, something like eight decades.

Like Shelley, Sharad went to high school in the Valley. Like Shelley, he stayed in Arizona as an undergrad. Like Shelley, he went to law school in New York.

And now they’re right next to each other in the attorney directory for Osborn Maledon, P.A., back in Phoenix.

Sharad is a second-year associate doing general litigation and what he suspiciously calls “criminal work.” Shelley’s focus is business and corporate securities law.

Meanwhile, Aaron Cain (’97) is a mere three days from celebrating his third anniversary at Fennemore Craig, P.C., where he works on business and finance law.

Out in the community, Aaron has been a mentor for companies involved with Arizona’s annual venture capital conference, Invest Southwest, one of the key players in the emergence of the state’s bioscience and technology industries.
