The Arizona SciTech Festival will kick off with a Feb. 6 event at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix, the first of more than 200 festivities around the state that will showcase Arizona as a national leader in science, technology and innovation.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) events around the state will feature hands-on activities and workshops, conversations and debates, exhibitions, concerts, guided walks and tours. The events—for kids and families, teens, adults, and science professionals—will be held on school, college and university campuses; in libraries, museums, and civic buildings; in cafes and restaurants; in commercial or industrial facilities; and in parks and public squares.

The Arizona SciTech Festival is a grassroots collaboration of more than 350 organizations in industry, academia, arts, civic, community and K-12 education, including the Arizona Science Center, Arizona Technology Council Foundation, Arizona Commerce Authority, the University of Arizona, and Arizona State University.

The festival will run through March 13.
