[Source: GenomeWeb News] – Life Technologies has inked an agreement with the Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg under which it will use Life Technologies’ Applied Biosystems SOLiD System to sequence its biospecimen samples.

The IBBL is an independent, non-profit biobanking and biotech foundation that has focused initially on collecting, storing, analyzing, and distributing cancer biospecimen samples. It was co-founded in 2008 by Luxembourg’s three public research centers — CRP-Santé, CRP-Henri Tudor, CRP-Gabriel Lippmann — the University of Luxembourg, and Arizona’s Translational Genomics Research Institute.
