Highlights of bioscience education in Arizona in the second quarter of 2006

Two new schools slated to open in August begin accepting applications: the Bioscience High School in downtown Phoenix and the Copper Ridge Math and Science Academy of the Scottsdale Unified School District.

Twelve Arizona students brought home more than $69,000 in scholarships and prizes from the 2006 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Indianapolis. Nearly 1,500 high school students from 47 countries, regions, and territories competed in the world
