Governor’s P-20 Council hosts regional Adolescent Literacy Forums

The Governor’s P-20 Council is hosting three regional Adolescent Literacy Forums this spring in Prescott Valley, Tucson, and Peoria. The first forum takes place today, March 7 in Prescott Valley. More than 100 educators are expected to attend.

These Adolescent Literacy Forums will focus on what educators and communities must do to ensure Arizona children are reading at grade level from third grade and beyond. The forums will provide educators and community members an opportunity to discuss literacy issues and aid the Council as it develops strategies to address adolescent literacy. Adolescent Literacy Forums are funded by a grant from the National Governors Association.
