Civic Leadership Throwback Thursday: Arnold Elias

Native Arizonan Arnold Elias served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 1959-1962, but his election came about in an unusual way. As a political-science student at the University of Arizona after a stint in the military, he became a House candidate as part of a class project.
