Calling all math and science professionals who live or work in Scottsdale

Scottsdale Unified School District has opened up a new math and science academy. Copper Ridge Math and Science Academy will provide students with a premier integrated curriculum for students who have an interest in mathematics and the sciences. Community support is needed to help foster the interests of students to pursue careers in math and science.

Three evening seminars will be held at 6:30 pm at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at 90th and Shea: October 16, November 13, and March 5. Volunteers are needed to speak about their career path and educational experiences to students and other community members. School officials welcome volunteers to participate to share their expertise and excitement for their career path in math and science. To volunteer, contact:
