[Source: Az Daily Sun] – Flagstaff’s small business incubator learned today its application for a $200,000 federal grant is well on its way through the congressional pipeline.

U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Flagstaff, said the grant has passed the full House and is awaiting reconciliation with a similar Senate bill.

Her announcement came Friday after a tour of the Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologies building in Flagstaff.

Russ Yelton, president and CEO of NACET, said the grant is part of a Small Business Administration program to help communities develop clean energy businesses and train workers for new technologies.
