The Division of Undergraduate Education invites proposals for NSF Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM). The program provides institutions with funds for student scholarships to encourage and enable academically talented but financially needy students to enter the workforce following completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or graduate degree in fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Approximately $50-$70 million is expected to be available annually, to support approximately 80-100 new S-STEM awards. Awards are not expected to exceed $600,000. Optional letters of intent are due Aug 11 for the Sept 14 competition. Eligibility is limited to U.S. accredited academic institutions.
