Application open for Arizona bioscience firms to earn $30K, professional support & connections

The application for the 2022 Flinn Foundation Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program is now open.

The program for early-stage bioscience firms in Arizona will provide $30,000 in non-dilutive funding, a professionally developed one-year plan specific to the company’s needs, and the opportunity to engage with the state’s bioscience, academic, and policy leaders.

To participate, companies must be engaged in the commercialization of bioscience research and biotechnology and/or the sale of products in the areas of:

  • Medical devices and equipment;
  • Drugs, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics;
  • Agricultural feedstock and chemicals;
  • Research, testing, and medical labs; or
  • Bioscience-related distribution.

The deadline to apply is Monday, November 1, 2021.

To date, 47 firms have benefited from the competitively selected program, which has distributed nearly $1.4 million in funding while facilitating new connections and networks.
