The Flinn Foundation is seeking early-stage bioscience startup firms to apply for its 2018 Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program, which provides $30,000 in funding support and a set of program services, administered through a nonprofit partner, for up to six early-stage Arizona bioscience firms.

The application is now available. The deadline to apply is Monday, November 6.

This will be the fifth year that the Flinn Foundation has competitively selected early-stage startups to participate in the program. Over the previous four years, the Foundation has selected for the program 22 Arizona firms engaged in the commercialization of bioscience research and biotechnology and/or the sale of bioscience products.

The program was created to foster entrepreneurship and help early-stage bioscience firms develop into successful and sustainable businesses, a goal of Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap.

The selection of the 2018 firms will be announced in mid-February.

Additional information about the program and application process can be found in the 2018 Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program brochure and at www.flinn.org/entrepreneur.
